The existing 114-room Atlantic Sands Hotel located oceanfront on the Rehoboth Beach boardwalk has been a prominent modern era structure facing the Atlantic Ocean. The site for the expansion extended westward 400’ from the hotel and had been used as a parking lot for the facility.

Expansion of this premiere beach resort hotel included a new lobby design and the addition of 78 rooms (80,000 SF), underground parking garage (40,000 SF), and a conference center (9,000 SF).
