DBF Welcomes Three New Hires

Davis, Bowen, & Friedel, (DBF), is pleased to welcome three new hires to their Milford, Delaware office: Rocky. P. Kessler, Christopher M. Daube, P.E., and Andrew J. Scrutchfield.

Rocky P. Kessler, DBF’s newest CAD designer joins the civil engineering department. With an associate degree from Delaware Technical Community College in applied science and civil engineering technology, Kessler has in-depth knowledge and experience working with AutoCAD, Civil-3D and Hydro-CAD, and is actively pursuing his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering. He is currently working on several subdivisions in Sussex County, which include Marsh Island, Burton’s Pond and Millville by the Sea.

Joining the structural engineering department is Christopher M. Daube, P.E., a graduate from the University of Delaware with a master’s degree in civil engineering and a concentration in structural engineering. Daube recently passed the State of Delaware Professional Engineering Exam and will be serving as a project manager on several structural projects related to buildings, bridges, and other support structures. “Chris has been a valuable addition to the team, and we look forward to seeing his expertise assist the firm in expanding DBF’s capabilities throughout Delaware.”, said Associate and Senior Structural Engineer Andrew Welch, P.E.

Accompanying Kessler and Daube is Coastal Engineer Andrew J. Scrutchfield, a native of Lewes, Delaware is a graduate from Stevens Institute of Technology with a bachelor’s in civil engineering and Master of Engineering in ocean engineering. He is currently working on a dune stabilization project for the Port Lewes HOA, Pirates Wharf Phase I design plans for Wicomico County, as well as permitting and engineering services for various coastal properties with Dissen & Juhn Company.
