Davis, Bowen & Friedel, Inc. (DBF), worked directly with the owner of Yellowfins Bar & Grill, Brendon Warfel Construction, and Silicato Development to design and construct the tenant space for the 3,150 SF Yellowfins restaurant located on the east side of the Taormina Square shopping center in Millsboro, Delaware.

The interior layout was coordinated with the owner’s interior designer as well as Singer Equipment Company for the design of the commercial kitchen area. A 1,750 SF exterior area was designed to include a fenced patio area and an exterior bar connected to the interior kitchen and cooler areas. Close coordination was required with the fire marshal’s office to oversee various interior design elements to ensure they complied with state fire regulations for combustibility. DBF assisted the tenant with obtaining permit approval and worked closely with the contractor during construction to coordinate elements of interior and exterior design.
